Recognizing a Great Idea
In 1997 Beaver Tools was at a trade show exhibiting next to a small company named "Kreg Tool". A funny name but interesting product. At that time the only product offered was a cast metal single sleeve pocket hole jig. But the tool demonstrations always seemed to mesmerize the trade show attendees and even drew in the president of Beaver Tools, John Krumrey. John met with Craig "Kreg" Sommerfeld and so began the close relationship between these two companies.
A Long Term Business Relationship
It wasn't until 2001 that Beaver Tools began distributing products other than their own. One of the very first was the Kreg Tools' jig. Since then Kreg has expanded their product offering to include pocket hole machines, router tables and accessories, precision measuring systems, saw accessories and more. Not long after Beaver Tools began distributing Kreg Tools, Kreg developed and built a face frame assembly table. To compliment that piece of equipment, Beaver Tools was asked to develop and supply a pneumatic screw gun for the table. Today, the Beaver BT-315 is the only screw gun sold by Kreg Tools for their face framing table.
Pocket-Hole-Jig.com
In 2009 Beaver Tools realized as a distributor of Kreg products that the best way to offer them to the public was to develop an exclusive website of only Kreg products. After months of planning and development www.Pocket-Hole-Jig.com was launched. With a commitment to the customer, Beaver Tools will continue with it's pursuit of offering high quality, efficiently productive woodworking equipment and supplies for both the professional and high-end hobbyist.
To all of you, from all of us at Beaver Tools, Inc., thank you for your continued support.
